COLLE VAL D’ELSA EXCURSION

Colle Val D’Elsa is situated in the heart of Tuscany and is known as the “City of Crystal” for its glass works. The town offers great shops, medieval houses, renaissance palaces, churches and museums. The evocative historical center hosts the  Duomo, the Tower of Arnolfo di Cambio, the Campana Palace, Arnolfo Square, the Teatro del Popolo and the old Saint Augustine Church. For glassworks, visit Vilca Glassworks in Gracciano di Colle Val D’Elsa. With reservations it is possible to visit with Mr. Bacci, an old craftsman who decorates and etches crystal.
